Stars win both in Florida!

GAME 1 RECAP:
 
Post 400 Stars 18U snatched the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Bradford on Tuesday.  The game was tied at three with Post 400 Stars 18U batting in the top of the sixth when Colby Hanson singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
 
Bradford got things moving in the first inning.  #19 was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.
 
 
#42 was on the hill for Bradford. The hurler lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out two and walking one.  #15 and #29 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and two innings respectively.
 
Post 400 Stars 18U tallied ten hits.  Gunnar Majerus, Chayton Senn, and Matthew Bryant each collected multiple hits for Post 400 Stars 18U.  Bryant, Senn, and Majerus all had two hits to lead Post 400 Stars 18U.  Post 400 Stars 18U stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Majerus led the way with two.
 
 
GAME 2 RECAP:
Jake Jaroszewski didn't allow a single run as Post 400 Stars 18U defeated Gamers 14-0 on Wednesday. Jaroszewski allowed just one hit.
 
Post 400 Stars 18U got things moving in the first inning, when Chayton Senn was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
 
One bright spot for Gamers was a single by #25 in the third inning.
 
Jaroszewski pitched Post 400 Stars 18U to victory. The southpaw went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out eight.
 
#10 led things off on the hill for Gamers. The hurler went two-thirds of an inning, allowing seven runs on three hits and striking out one.  #22 and #11 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one and one-third innings respectively.
 
Post 400 Stars 18U collected ten hits on the day.  Jack Demers, Caleb Christianson, Andre Werk, and Colby Hanson all managed multiple hits for Post 400 Stars 18U.  Hanson, Werk, Christianson, and Demers each collected two hits to lead Post 400 Stars 18U.  Post 400 Stars 18U was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Demers had the most chances in the field with seven.
 
#25 led Gamers with one hit in two at bats.
