Friday Florida Recap - Astros

Game 1:
Post 400 Astros Claims Blow-Out Victory Over Gamers, 12-1
 
Post 400 Astros got things started in the first inning when Ashton Rinas singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
 
Eli Claus got the start for Post 400 Astros. The righthander allowed one hit and one run over four innings, striking out seven.
 
#22 led things off on the mound for Gamers. undefined lasted four innings, allowing 12 hits and 12 runs while striking out three.
 
Post 400 Astros tallied 12 hits on the day.  Rinas, Damarion Semanko, and Kane Mathiason each managed multiple hits for Post 400 Astros.  Rinas went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Post 400 Astros in hits.
 
#2 led Gamers with one hit in two at bats.
 
 
Game 2:
Post 400 Astros Can't Quite Erase 5-Run Deficit in Loss to Loomis Chaffee
 
Post 400 Astros effort to come back from down five runs in the third inning came up just short, as they fell 9-7 to Loomis Chaffee on Friday.  Post 400 Astros put up five runs in the failed comeback. Kane Mathiason, Coleston Senn,  Kaleb Blanchette, Mathiason, and Senn came through with RBIs to lead the rally.
 
Post 400 Astros couldn't keep up with Loomis Chaffee early in the game.  Loomis Chaffee took the lead on a single in the second inning.
 
Post 400 Astros got things started in the first inning.  Calvin Jungling hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.
 
Post 400 Astros tallied three runs in the fifth inning.  The rally was led by a walk by Senn, a single by Mathiason, and an error on a ball put in play by Blanchette.
 
Loomis Chaffee scored three runs in the third inning.  The big inning for Loomis Chaffee came thanks to groundouts by #22 and #17 and a single by #1.
 
#19 led things off on the hill for Loomis Chaffee. The pitcher surrendered three runs on four hits over three innings, striking out two.
 
Owen Shannon toed the rubber for Post 400 Astros. The righty surrendered seven runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out four.  Jungling and Jack Gould entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one-third of an inning respectively.
 
Post 400 Astros collected seven hits.  Senn and Mathiason all managed multiple hits for Post 400 Astros.  Mathiason and Senn each collected two hits to lead Post 400 Astros.
 
Loomis Chaffee racked up nine hits on the day.  #3 and #26 all collected multiple hits for Loomis Chaffee.  Loomis Chaffee tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. #10 led the way with five.
