March 18th Recap for the Stars

Game 1 - Nine RBI Day for Jaxon Beiswenger Brings Victory for Fargo Post 400 Stars Over Sarina Braves
 
Jaxon Beiswenger came the ballpark and meant business on Friday, driving in nine on three hits to lead Fargo Post 400 Stars past Sarina Braves 14-4 on Friday.  Beiswenger drove in runs on a double in the first, a triple in the second, and a grand slam in the third.
 
Sarina Braves scored four runs in the fifth inning, but Fargo Post 400 Stars still managed to pull out the victory.  #17 and #6 all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
 
Fargo Post 400 Stars got things moving in the first inning.  Fargo Post 400 Stars scored one run when Chayton Senn singled.
 
Jake Topp was the winning pitcher for Fargo Post 400 Stars. The bulldog surrendered five runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out six and walking one.
 
#2 took the loss for Sarina Braves. The hurler surrendered nine runs on five hits over one inning.
 
Fargo Post 400 Stars hit one home run on the day. Beiswenger had a homer in the third inning.
 
Fargo Post 400 Stars had nine hits in the game.  Beiswenger and Jobe Freier all managed multiple hits for Fargo Post 400 Stars.  Beiswenger went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Fargo Post 400 Stars in hits.
 
#17 led Sarina Braves with two hits in two at bats.


Game 2 - Fargo Post 400 Stars Drops Game to Loomis Chaffee After Late Score
 
Fargo Post 400 Stars stayed in it until the end, but Loomis Chaffee pulled away late in a 14-8 victory on Friday.  The game was tied at eight with Loomis Chaffee batting in the top of the ninth when an error scored one run for Loomis Chaffee.
 
Fargo Post 400 Stars collected seven hits and Loomis Chaffee had 17 in the high-scoring affair.
 
Loomis Chaffee got things started in the second inning.  PlayerE doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
 
In the top of the seventh inning, Loomis Chaffee tied things up at eight when PlayerB singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.
 
Fargo Post 400 Stars scored four runs in the sixth inning.  Grant Matter, Jobe Freier, and Easton Rerick each drove in runs during the inning.
 
#1 led the Loomis Chaffee to victory on the pitcher's mound. The pitcher lasted nine innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out 15.
 
Chayton Senn took the loss for Fargo Post 400 Stars. Senn went one inning, allowing six runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one.
 
Colby Hanson started the game for Fargo Post 400 Stars. The pitcher surrendered five runs on six hits over four innings, striking out three and walking one
 
Fargo Post 400 Stars socked one home run on the day. Rerick went for the long ball in the fifth inning.
 
Eli Mach led Fargo Post 400 Stars with two hits in three at bats.
 
Loomis Chaffee saw the ball well today, racking up 17 hits in the game.  #1, PlayerA, PlayerB, PlayerD, PlayerE, and PlayerC each had multiple hits for Loomis Chaffee.
