Donn Bryant - Stars Head Coach

Donny is in his first year coaching for the Post 400 program.  Bryant is originally from Chicago, Illinois.  He has spent most of his life in Fargo, ND attending Shanley High School and playing Legion Baseball for Fargo Post 2.  He played on three state championship teams and on the 1989 team that went to the American Legion World Series in Millington, Tennessee.  Bryant played his college ball at Minnesota State Mankato and North Dakota State.  He later went on to coach baseball and football at Fargo South.  He coached baseball at Fargo South for 20 years, leading the Bruins to the 2011 State Baseball title with a 37-2 record.  Bryant is a 3-time EDC Coach of the Year and 2-time State Coach of the Year.  Bryant is married to Amy, has three children, Ben (24), Jake (21), and Matthew (16), and teaches math at Carl Ben Eielson Middle School.

Jeff Fiechtner - Stars Assistant / Pitching Coach

Jeff Fiechtner will be in his third season at Post 400 but is hardly an unknown in the baseball world.  Jeff was the head coach at Fargo North High School from 1998-2019.  Jeff also was head coach of the Fargo Post 2 legion program from 2009 to 2011 and elected into the Post 2 HOF in 2007.   He helped lead Fargo to two state championships as a player in 1974 and 1976.  He hit .318 for his career at the plate with 17 home runs, 35 doubles, and 127 RBIs.  Jeff really excelled on the mound with a 21-11 record with a 2.26 ERA over three seasons at Post 2.  Coach Fiechtner attended junior college at DMACC (Boone, IA) and was All-District and compiled an 18-7 mound record with a 1.96 ERA.  He then went on to Grand Canyon University in Arizona where his team won back-to-back NAIA national championships in 1980 and 1981.  He played one year in the San Diego Padres Organization and four seasons in Western Canadian League where he had a 39-11 mark with a 1.41 ERA including one league championship and the MVP of the league in 1981.  Coach Fiechtner also played three seasons in Australia where his team won three straight national titles and he was the tournament MVP all three seasons and league MVP twice. 

Jeff is married to Vicki  and together they have five kids and soon to be three grandchildren.  Coach Fiechtner will be the full time pitching coach for Post 400 and assistant coach for the Stars.  We feel fortunate to add someone of his caliber to the program.  He has coaching stints in Canada, Grand Canyon, Kensington Australia, Arizona, and Fargo.

Kevin Pearson - Stars Assistant Coach

Kevin was born and raised in Fergus Falls.  Pearson graduated High School in 1992.  He was a 4th round draft pick of the Minnesota Twins in the 1992 Amateur Draft. Kevin played 4 seasons in the Twins minor league system.  He played two years of basketball at M State in Fergus Falls.  Pearson competed on a team that finished fourth in the National Tournament in 1994.  Kevin went on to play 2 more years of basketball at Concordia College, Moorhead.  He graduated from Concordia in 1998.  Kevin was an elementary teacher and coach in Fergus Falls for 24 years.  He served as the head baseball coach for the Otters the last 5 years.  Pearson is currently teaching 7th grade math at Liberty Middle School in West Fargo.  Kevin has 4 children:  Lily, Paige, Luke, and Sarah.

Colten Alme - Astros Head Coach

Colten played Post 400 since it’s first season as the Stars in 2019. He played on the team that finished second in state, first in regionals, and advanced to Shelby. Alme was on the all-tournament team in the Central Plains Regional in Sioux Falls. He started pitching and won the Play-In Games in 2020 and 2021, the game to advance to regionals in 2021, and the championship game of the Central Plains in 2021. Alme also started in center all three years on the Stars and won the defensive player of the year in 2019 for the Stars. Colten was the rookie of the year for his high school varsity team in 2019, the hustle award winner in 2021, and the Cy Young winner in 2021.

Colten graduated from Fargo Davies High School in 2021 with a 4.18 GPA. He was an All-State Football player and an All-Region baseball and football player. He is currently attending North Dakota State University and am majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Biomedical Engineering.

Kobe Senn - Astros Assistant Coach

Kobe Senn is a former player for Post 400 Stars since their first season in 2019.  Kobe is a 2 time MVP (2020-21) and 3-time Silver Slugger Winner (2019-21) for Post 400.  Kobe played on the Post 400s first ever Central Plains Regional Championship team and was named to the all-tournament team and awarded the MVP for the regional tournament.  He also won the American Legion Baseball Slugger Award for having the highest batting average in national competition. Kobe graduated from Davies HS and currently attends the University of Minnesota-Crookston where he plays baseball and is working toward a degree in Finance.

Jake Bryant - Comets Head Coach

Post 400 would like to introduce former player and team MVP Jake Bryant as a coach for the organization. Bryant was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota and graduated from Fargo South High School in 2020. Bryant was an all-region player for the Bruin baseball team and helped South/Shanley capture 2nd place in the 2020 ND State High School Hockey Tournament. Jake attended Riverland College in Austin, MN and played baseball for three seasons. In 2023, they finished first in the MCAC South Region.

Caden Graf - Comets Assistant Coach

Caden is from Fargo, ND and graduated from Davies High School in 2021. Left fielder and pitched for the eagles. Hit .453 senior year and was an all-region and all-state player his senior year. Won OPOY and ROTY for the eagles senior year. Played 4 years for Post 400 playing outfield and pitching. Played 2 years for the Astros and 2 years on the Stars. Won Cy Young for the Astros and won gold glove for the Stars. Was a part of the Stars team that took second place in state and won the regional tournament to go to the WS in Shelby, NC. Won all-tournament team in the Regional Tournament in Sioux Falls, SD. Currently a sophomore at the University of North Dakota majoring in Computer Science. Play club baseball at UND. Started in left field for the team that made it to the WS in Butler, PA.

Ben Dawson - Comets Assistant Coach

Ben Dawson enters his first season with the Post 400 coaching staff. Ben played for the Comets and graduated from Fargo South HS. He currently plays baseball at Mayville State. Dawson is also an Eagle Scout.

Scott Krabbenhoft - Program Assistant Coach

Scott is a born and raised Fargo native who graduated from Fargo South in 2011 and is also a Post 2 alumni. Scott majored in Graphic Design at M-State in Moorhead.  Scott started his coaching career in 2012 at Fargo North. He also coached with the Bombers from 2012-13. In 2014, he joined the Post 2 varsity team as an assistant. Scott helped coach 3 state champion legion teams; the 2012 Bombers and the 2016 and 2017 Post 2 team. Scott started coaching at Fargo Davies in 2012 and was an assistant with the varsity team. Scott also won 2 state titles as a player; the 2011 Fargo South team and the 2011 Jets. Scott also has been a high school and college hockey official for 10+ years.  Scott's past work experience includes being the Executive Marketing Director of Fargo Post 2 and two years at Signarama working with production, design, and sales. He is currently a director with Fargo Youth Baseball and Fargo Area Fastpitch. Scott is married to Brandi.
