Fargo Post 400 Stars took the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Futures Post 303 on Saturday.  The game was tied at two with Fargo Post 400 Stars batting in the top of the sixth when Grant Matter's sac fly scored one run for Fargo Post 400 Stars.

 

Futures Post 303 got things started in the first inning.  An error scored one run for Futures Post 303.

 

After Fargo Post 400 Stars scored two runs in the top of the seventh, Futures Post 303 answered with two of their own.  Fargo Post 400 Stars scored when Easton Rerick hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run and Chayton Senn singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.  Futures Post 303 then answered when #32 singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run and #33 singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

 

Carsen Barta led the Fargo Post 400 Stars to victory on the pitcher's mound. The hurler surrendered two runs on three hits over three innings, striking out four and walking one.
