Fargo Post 400 Astros Can't Catch Up To Post 22 Expos

Fargo Post 400 Astros fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-3 loss to Post 22 Expos on Friday.  Post 22 Expos scored on a home run by Tate Crosswait in the first inning, a stolen base by Aaron Roach in the first inning, a double by Jadon Moreno in the first inning, a sacrifice fly by Roach in the second inning, and a single by Larson in the second inning.

The Fargo Post 400 Astros struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Post 22 Expos, giving up 12 runs.

Post 22 Expos scored seven runs in the third inning.  Walters, Roach,  Larson, Thaler, Moreno, and Montgomery each drove in runs during the inning.

Moreno got the start for Post 22 Expos. The bulldog lasted three innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out three.

Ashton Rinas was on the hill for Fargo Post 400 Astros. The pitcher surrendered eight runs on seven hits over two innings, striking out one.  Jackson Amerman and Gunner Majerus entered the game as relief, throwing three and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Nicholas Hasbargen went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fargo Post 400 Astros in hits.

Post 22 Expos tallied 11 hits in the game.  Larson, Moreno, and Roach each managed multiple hits for Post 22 Expos.  Larson led Post 22 Expos with three hits in five at bats.
