Post 400 Stars stayed in it until the end, but Watertown, SD pulled away late in an 8-7 victory on Saturday.  The game was tied at seven with Watertown, SD batting in the bottom of the sixth when.

 

Despite the loss, Post 400 Stars did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Watertown, SD had eight hits on the way to victory.

 

Watertown, SD fired up the offense in the second inning, when an error scored one run for Watertown, SD.

 

Mitch Olson was credited with the victory for Watertown, SD. The fireballer surrendered five runs on four hits over two innings.

 

Jake Jaroszewski was on the pitcher's mound for Post 400 Stars. Jaroszewski surrendered four runs on five hits over four innings, striking out seven.  Colby Hanson threw two innings in relief.

 

Jackson Maag started the game for Watertown, SD. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out three

 

Jack Demers went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Post 400 Stars 18U in hits.

 

Jack Heesch led Watertown, SD with two hits in three at bats.
