Post 400 Stars Overcomes Watertown, SD In Face Of Early 4-Run Inning
 
Post 400 weathered a scare by Watertown in the first inning where the Stars coughed up four runs, but Fargo still won 8-4 on Saturday.  The offensive onslaught by Watertown was led by Kaden Rylance, Spencer Wientjes, and Ries, all driving in runs in the inning.
 
In the first inning, Watertown got their offense started when Rylance singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
 
Post 400 pulled away for good with five runs in the second inning.  In the second Chayton Senn drew a walk, scoring one run, Andre Werk singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, and Jack Demers singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
 
Senn was on the hill for Fargo. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out two.
 
Jack Heesch started the game for Watertown. The bulldog went four innings, allowing eight runs on 11 hits and striking out one.
Fargo socked one home run on the day. Werk had a dinger in the fourth inning.
 
The Stars racked up 11 hits on the day.  Caleb Christianson, Werk, and Colby Hanson all managed multiple hits.  Hanson, Werk, and Christianson each collected two hits to lead Fargo.
