Post 400 Loses Lead Early in Defeat
 
The Stars fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 6-2 loss to Creighton Prep on Friday.  Creighton Prep scored on a single by Grant Sommers in the first inning and a triple by #4 in the first inning.
 
Creighton Prep opened up scoring in the first inning.  Sommers drove in one when Sommers singled.
 
Creighton Prep scored three runs in the fourth inning.  Henry Bartholomew and Sommers all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
 
Jamison Harris led things off on the pitcher's mound for Creighton Prep. The fireballer lasted five innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out seven and walking zero.
 
Jake Jaroszewski was on the hill for Post 400 Stars 18U. The lefthander surrendered six runs on five hits over four innings, striking out two.  Matthew Bryant threw two innings in relief.
 
Eli Mach went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fargo in hits.
 
Creighton Prep totaled five hits.  Sommers and Bartholomew each managed multiple hits for Creighton Prep.
 
 
 
Post 400 Astros Slides Into a Blow-Out Win Over North Platte Junior Legion
 
The Astros had everything working on Saturday, winning big over North Platte Junior Legion 8-1
 
North Platte Junior Legion got on the board in the first inning when.
 
Post 400 pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning.  In the third Kane Mathiason singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Cayden Neuharth singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Gavin Jiskra's sac fly scored one run for Fargo.
 
Fargo notched three runs in the fourth inning.  The offensive onslaught came from singles by Mathiason and Neuharth.
 
Eli Claus took the win for the Astros. The righthander went five innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out seven and walking one.  Ethan Doll threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
 
Ty Haneborg took the loss for North Platte Junior Legion. Haneborg allowed seven hits and six runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five.
 
Post 400 collected nine hits on the day.  Ashton Rinas, Mathiason, and Neuharth all managed multiple hits for the Astros.  Neuharth, Mathiason, and Rinas each managed two hits to lead Post 400 Astros 17U.
