Post 400 Stars Defeated By Grand Forks

Post 400 Stars fell to Grand Forks 9-5 on Tuesday.
Grand Forks got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Cole Barta homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Gabe Tande doubled, scoring one run.
Grand Forks added two runs in the third after Tande tripled on an 0-2 count.
Barta earned the win for Grand Forks. They allowed two hits and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two. Carson Bevill took the loss for Post 400 Stars. They went one-third of an inning, allowing four runs on four hits, striking out none and walking one. Chance Colgrove started the game for Grand Forks. They gave up two hits and one run over two innings, striking out four and walking one.
Fargo Post 400 collected 10 hits in the game. Colby Hanson, Caleb Christianson, Gunnar Majerus, and Andre Werk each collected two hits for Fargo. Jackson Amerman, Hanson, Christianson, and Eli Mach each drove in one run for Post 400. Fargo Stars turned one double play in the game.
Grand Forks tallied 10 hits in the game. Barta, Tande, and Colgrove each collected two hits for Grand Forks. Barta drove the middle of the lineup, leading Grand Forks with five runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-5 on the day. Grand Forks turned two double plays in the game.
