Post 400 Stars Defeat Grand Forks

Post 400 Stars defeated Grand Forks 10-5 on Monday.
 
Post 400 Stars opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to three singles. Post 400 Stars first got on the board when Malachi Werremeyer singled, scoring one run.
 
Fargo added two runs in the third. Logan Sullivan doubled on an 0-2 count, making the score 5-1.
 
Chayton Senn earned the win for the Stars. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and four runs (three earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking four. Chance Colgrove took the loss for Grand Forks. They went five innings, giving up six runs on seven hits, striking out eight and walking four. Colby Hanson collected the save.
 
Post 400 amassed 10 hits in the game. Matthew Bryant and Hanson were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Post 400. Sullivan led Fargo with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The first baseman went 1-for-4 on the day. Eli Mach stole two bases. Fargo Post 400 turned one double play in the game.
 
Matt Dosch and Colgrove each collected two hits for Grand Forks. Dosch and Branden Brevik each drove in two runs for Grand Forks.

Fargo Post 400 will play Minot on Tuesday, July 25th at 5:00 PM CT.
