Fargo Post 400 Stars Fall Short to Minot Vistas

Colby Hanson drove in five on three hits, but Post 400 Stars fell to Minot Vistas 8-7 on Tuesday.
 
Post 400 Stars fought back after falling down by six runs in the fourth inning. The comeback fell just short though. Post 400 Stars closed the gap by scoring on a double, a sacrifice fly, a sacrifice fly, and a single.
 
Minot Vistas jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Aidan Diehl singled, scoring two runs, Easton Panasuk singled, scoring one run, and Kellan Burke doubled, scoring two runs.
 
Carson Deaver earned the win for Minot. The righty surrendered eight hits and six runs over five and one-third innings, striking out five and walking none. Matthew Bryant stepped on the bump first for Post 400 Stars. The starting pitcher allowed 11 hits and eight runs over three and one-third innings, striking out one and walking one.
 
Fargo Post 400 collected 11 hits in the game. Bryant, Caleb Christianson, and Gunnar Majerus each collected multiple hits for the Stars.
 
Minot Vistas amassed 14 hits in the game. Tyler Collins, Minot's number seven hitter, led the team with three hits in four at-bats. Burke drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Vistas with three runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-4 on the day. Adam Roedocleer and Tyson Ruzicka each collected multiple hits for the Vistas. Minot didn't commit a single error in the field.
